LEE TRUESDALE is an accomplished and respected actor/singer whose credits range from the Broadway and Concert Stages in the United States to the international stages abroad. Lee's wide ranging artistic experience also includes several television appearences as well. Lee's theatrical credits include Broadway and National Touring Companies of the musical "Grease," "The Wiz," "Dreamgirls," "Black Nativity," and "Mama I Want To Sing." In 1996 Lee was awarded the prestigious "Black Heritage Award" for Most Outstanding Performance in a Musical for his work in
"The Gospel Bandwagon," which was written and produced by Lee.
Mr. Truesdale has also toured throughout all of Europe in the role of Minister Hightower with
"The Original USA Gospel Singers."
As a director, Lee was recently recognized for his directorial expertise in the Regina Taylor classic
Lee Truesdale the recording artist, has topped the dance charts with such hits as "Trust Me," and
"Keep In Touch" recorded on the MicMac Records Label. Lee has also graced the stage and recording studio as a background vocalist for such artist's as....
Diana Ross, Stephanie Mills, Chris Walker,
The Weather Girls, Alyson Williams,
Colonel Abrams and Tony Terry just to name a few.
Lee was last seen on the small screen in the critically acclaimed A&E Television series "100 Centre Street."
Lee also has several television commercials under his belt: "Crystal Light," "Great Adventures Theme Park," and "Southwest Airlines."
Lee has also appeared on "The 11th Annual R&B Awards" show, as well as
"Motown Returns To The Apollo."
Lee continues to tour and perform live with his R&B group "The ScreamBoyze"
and "The Dazzling Leelettes."
Most recently, Lee has been extremely busy building his new recording / theatrical production company
"Truesytunes Entertainment LLC," as well as sharing his expertise as an acting and vocal coach to aspirants, as founder of "Vocal Design & Scene Study Therapy."
If all of that isn't enough, Lee is gearing up for his new 2011 CD release intitled,
"Truesytunes Entertainment." on his own label " Unfinished Business... The Blessings Continue"
